IPHONES Are FALLING Behind Android...

Intro

Do you have a look at an iPhone and think brother why does it look so outdated with nearly the same design for over 5 years iPhone are starting to fall behind Androids so what's going on is Apple really falling behind or is there a genius plan behind all of this.

How Androids are better than I Phones

First I want to show you some of the ways that iPhone are inferior to Androids and probably the most infuriating example is their use of 60 HZ on their $800 base models when there's Android phones under 200 that use 90 or even 120 HZ and if you're not aware 120 HZ makes your phone twice as smooth and responsive simple as that you see iPhone do give you 120 HZ but only when you spend $11,000 on the pro model  iPhone and then they call the feature promotion it's heavily implied that it's a professional feature when it really isn't it's a standard feature that everyone should have access to it shouldn't be marketed as exclusive.

They're being very clever here because it gives people the perfect reason to buy the pro model iPhone especially if they're coming from Android because if they see 60 HZ, they start tweaking so they have no choice but to get the pro but that's just the beginning the charging speeds they suck they always sucked.

They probably always will but the longest times iPhone charged at about 20 wats and after all those years iPhone 16 Pro is not really any better meanwhile a lot of mid-range Android phones charge at 120 Wes and before you say well iPhone like to focus on longevity and they like to wait to implement their just wait I will explain that later just let me roast…

 Roasting Apple

Apple for a little bit they used the suck lightning port for over 10 years until the EU forced them to switch to the USBC which is superior unless you're this guy on Reddit which made me lose half my brain cells it's not that many to begin with they used to have this ugly Notch which looked like a receding hairline until they switch to the dynamic Island which is still like three times wider than your then the there's no variety with iPhone because they all look the same there's only handful of phones that come out each year and the iPhone 16 basically looks the same as an iPhone 13 and if you squint hard enough it looks like an iPhone 11 from 2019 it takes Apple years to implement existing features like 120HZ OLED screens always on displays customization USBC someone in the comments actually said that Apple has to catch up as always so reheating someone else's Innovation. There's a reason why apple is doing all of this slowing down Innovation making their phones look all the same and boring Apple does like  very to innovate but they also like to be the best.

So they take their time until the feature is polished when the released. The first iPhone in 2007 it was ahead of competition because at the time they were competing with a phone like these and the first iPad in 2010 was also miles ahead because the existing tablets were pretty rough, I mean just compared this to the first iPad but that was then.

Why are I Phones so boring

So why are iPhone so boring now well iPhone have a really strong Foundation. Their goal is to appeal to the masses by introducing features that actually make a difference like face ID Apple created their own hardware for the face ID which is a lot safer than just using a selfie camera which is why other companies don't rely on face recognition for stuff like payments instead they use fingerprints which are better anyway most people don't really care.

If their phone is ahead of everything else it just has to work be reliable intuitive and simple which is what the iPhone delivers it's reliable but it's boring by not innovating with 100 different things a year Apple keeps it simple, they try to stay in the comfort zone so that they don't mess up like LG.

Did you see back in the day LG used to be the king of innovation they were often the first to introduce something LG G5 in 2016 was the first phone with an ultra-wide camera G3 was the first phone with a Quad HD screen glen was a self-repairing curved phone LG V6 the dual screen the LG wing and the list just goes on LG was never afraid to mix things up and innovate but they innovated a little bit too hard to the point where they just fell off their phones started to lack cohesion, they would introduce something Half Baked like a modular phone and then just drop it.

The next year there was no direction or a clear sense of progression instead of stacking Innovation LG just threw a random assortment of features that looked cool at the time and then moving on to something completely different and what this actually meant is that companies like apple could just sit back relax and watch their competitors make blunders and fail and then when certain features like ultra white cameras or high refresh rate broke through and proved to be a success.

They would implement it properly and make sure it's stuck if you look at the progression of iPhone certain features like the face ID or the Mac safe charger actually, stuck around because they were implemented properly Apple are not going to change stuff randomly completely mess up the design and then next year be like well actually let's just go back forget about that but they will remove the headphone jack and the charger and your money however this safe approach.

Did work for Apple for a long time because it gave them a brand identity Apple doesn't feel like an experiment like LG.

Did you might associate iPhone with premium designs exciting events polish features or mediocre and boring specs either way it's a safe bet to get an iPhone if nothing ever changes if they can slow down the pace of innovation they can basically sell the same iPhone every year it's a bit ironic when you think about how Apple claims to be saving the planet with their focus on recycled and renewable materials but they contribute to the e-w by releasing this same phone basically every year.

Apple is kind a genius

Here's another genius part Apple doesn't have to reinvent the wheel every year they just have to make it sound like they do through their marketing which is what LG failed to do in fact LG wasn't really good at marketing they stayed relatively quiet believing that a good product would attract customers and naturally sell itself but clearly this strategy didn't work seeing how they completely stopped making phones.

Here's the thing if you Market something. Correctly you can sell anything even if they don't need it and seeing how Tech doesn't really improve much these days. We need to be convinced that we need something otherwise it's not going to sell well and the way that Apple Hypes Up their iPhone make it sound like they're essential and you need on because you're being held back by your old phone even though it's the same. Thing and this are what good things end.

Apple is starting to fall of

We really start to see why iPhone are falling behind and why this safe approach is becoming a little bit too safe because just like in real life committing to comfort causes stagnation which is what's happening to Apple to be fair they did tried a mini iPhone which flopped but that was a variation of the iPhone that they could just simply discontinue without it affecting the sales of the base iPhone sweeping it under the rug and never talking about it again they did add a new camera button which according to a lot of reviewers is pretty useless I actually never use the camera control to the point where I turned it off why like who asked for this I think this is dumb unless you're eye Justin then you glaze Apple regardless I mean it's like do you think I'm actually going to pick another phone.

It really does make taking photos so much easier I feel like people are trapped in this apple ecosystem bubble and they don't know what's outside of it when they see a new iPhone they immediately feel safe to upgrade without doing any research and if they did, they would know that apple is having a little bit of a falloff Tim Cook isn't really cooking right now because at the beginning of the year they released anew Apple Vision Pro which is a new direction for them.

Then they cancel the Apple car reassigning the employees to work on AI and then they release a new iPhone with a useless camera button and AI That's not even out yet and it's already behind competition what that doesn't sound like apple ideas.

Focus all over the place and they're releasing something that's Half Baked and already behind competition by 2 Years.

Android is taking over

What's going on and although apple is still at the top of the market share the iPhone 16 shipments are down because people don't really care about these new iPhone apple is hoping that AI would boost these shipments next year but based on the feedback that we already have it's not looking good really not super amazing or compelling to me just to be real a huge issue that I'm seeing right now with iPhone is that Androids are really innovating right now.

In the right direction I already made a video about this but we're starting to see new
battery Tech with much increased battery life apps that let you emulate Windows games and mid-range phones are becoming incredibly powerful Vivo cameras are so good now that sometimes it completely embarrasses Apple especially when it comes to zoom and yeah people say that iPhone cameras are consistent but are they the video quality is still a little bit better but by how much 10%.

But how far does that take you especially when vivo exists then there's the OnePlus 13 probably the most refined Android phone that I’ve seen this whole year especially compared to their older models they really stepped up their game which is what Apple needs to do before people start realizing that being safe is no longer the best option.
